I just wanted to mention a couple of ways to help out by giving a little bit extra to your cause without actually spending more than you normally would.

Shop Online

These two websites will donate a portion of your purchase to the charity that you choose. All you do is shop at the online stores that you normally shop at and you are helping out.

iGive is a website that will donate from your cause just for shopping online. Shop at tons of big stores like Barnes and Noble, Best Buy, Ebay and over 700 more. You don’t pay more for shopping, you just buy things the way you normally do online. The store will then give a portion of the money you paid back to iGive who will donate that money to your cause. Plus they have coupons and free shipping deals. How can you beat that!

SELECT your favorite cause (or add a new one). Register with iGive and SHOP at brand name online stores through the iGive Mall. A portion of each purchase is donated to your cause. SAVE money with exclusive coupons/free shipping deals. Plus, when you shop within 45 days of registering we’ll donate an extra $5 to your cause!

visit iGive

AidMaker is a small download from agoodcause.com that allows you to donate to the cause you choose by shopping online. It works at many stores including Amazon.com and Buy.com.

Aidmaker is easy to install and completely free.
Aidmaker enables you to make a real difference to your chosen charity whilst doing, what you are doing already:

Shopping online.

Whether you buy a book at Amazon, a plane ticket
from your favourite airline or bid on an auction at eBay, you can now support your favourite cause for free.

visit agoodcause.com

Play Games

Free Rice is a game that will donate 20 grains of rice for every answer you get correct. It’s a fun trivia game that can be a little addictive. It has different subjects to choose from like English Vocabulary, World Capitals, Famous Paintings and others. I think it’s fun and I can actually spend hours playing it.

visit Free Rice

Search

GoodSearch is a search engine that will donate to your cause for every search you perform on their website. The search is powered by Yahoo so the results should be good.

GoodSearch is a search engine which donates 50-percent of its revenue to the charities and schools designated by its users. It’s a simple and compelling concept. You use GoodSearch exactly as you would any other search engine. Because it’s powered by Yahoo!, you get proven search results. The money GoodSearch donates to your cause comes from its advertisers — the users and the organizations do not spend a dime!

visit GoodSearch

These are just some idea to give a little extra. Every bit of help is useful.

Do you have any other ideas of ways to help out by doing things you normally do on the internet anyway?
